Each winter the world's best big wave surfers are invited to Waimea Bay on Oahu's North Shore to compete in the Quiksilver Big Wave Invitational In Memory of Eddie Aikau.

The 2012 Sony Open in Hawaii PGA Tour tournament signals the launch of full-field events on the PGA Tour annually. Each January the Sony Open in Hawaii attracts 144 of the world's greatest golf professionals to the Waialae Country Club on the island of Oahu.

NFL 2012 Pro Bowl
The NFL returns to Honolulu for the 2012 Pro Bowl. The annual contest of the AFC and NFC's best will take place Sunday January 29, 2012 at Aloha Stadium.

Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, Pualeilani Terrace (Kealohilani Beachfront Tower, 3rd Floor)
The reigning dance champion of ABC-TV's Dancing with the Stars Season 13, Karina Smirnoff will bring her DanceFIT Tour to the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa! Open to the public for a fee of $30 per person. The 55 minute fitness class will include instruction from Smirnoff, followed by time to meet-and-greet with the star.
